We are a Colorado septic contractor that installs, replaces, and repairs septic systems for homeowners. We also handle sewer line repair, waterline repair, and residential excavation. Colorado Septic Pros is a DBA of Iron Legacy Construction. Read more about us.
Our first septic installation was in 2019, and installing septic systems is what our crew does.
Our office is at 11457 Falcon Highway, Peyton, CO 80831. You can reach us through our contact page.
Landon Mehlhoff is our owner and handles estimates, scheduling, and site visits, and he guides homeowners through the process.
We serve four Colorado counties and the communities within them: El Paso County (Colorado Springs, Monument, Peyton, Falcon, Manitou Springs, Fountain, Cascade, Calhan, Ellicott, Yoder, Rush); Douglas County (Castle Rock, Parker); Teller County (Woodland Park, Cripple Creek, Divide); Elbert County (Elizabeth, Kiowa). See our service area map for all locations.

A complete installation means a new septic tank and a new leach field. Before that, we dig profile pits, do a soil analysis, and produce an engineered plan that we send to the county for the permit. See septic system installation.
Yes. Tank replacement is one of the jobs we do most. If the leach field is also failing, a complete repair install may be the better fix. See septic tank replacement and septic repair.
No. Pumping is not a service we offer. We focus on installations, replacements, and repairs.
Yes. We excavate and repair residential sewer lines and water service lines. See sewer line repair and waterline repair.
We take on residential excavation projects. Tell us what you have in mind and we will tell you whether it is a fit. See residential excavation.
Yes. A building permit cannot be issued until you have a septic permit, so the septic plan comes early in a new home project.
Yes. We dig profile pits, do the soil analysis, produce an engineered plan, give you a bid on the plan, and send the plan to the county to obtain the permit.
That helps. Tell us what you have when you reach out and we will tell you what is still needed.
A profile pit is a hole dug on the property so the soil can be examined where the system would go. The soil analysis from the pits drives the design of the system.
We talk it through and visit the site, dig profile pits, analyze the soil, produce an engineered plan and a bid, submit the plan to the county for the permit, and then install the system.
Call (719) 745-0032 or use our contact form. We will talk through your project and set up a site visit.
Yes. Homeowners are our focus, whether you are building a new home or fixing a failed system.
Winter slows septic installs, because they get much harder when the ground freezes. Work picks up as the ground thaws, starting around March.
We respond to inquiries Monday through Friday during business hours.
